Available Software
Two software suites are available. KARMA is a 3-D nonlinear structural
dynamics analysis program that offers advanced structural analysis
capabilities. Click on the KARMA introduction button on the previous
page to get an overview. The CATmandu program offers comprehensive
risk assessment analysis. Click on the CATmandu introduction button
on the previous page to get an overview.
Test Drive The Technology
To test drive the technology, the following steps are involved. This
option is free.
- Go to the Test Drive page of KARMA or CATmandu.
- Provide some basic information.
- Select the sample file from the available suite.
- Accept and abide by the Terms of Use and execute the run.
Execute User Specified Data Files
This is a pay-per-use option. The user can either pay for the executions
via credit card or have an account available. The following steps
outline the procedures.
- Create an ASCII data file for the specific problem. The input
manuals and and data check version of KARMA can be ordered for
a nominal fee.
- Set-up a user account and password.
- Access and complete the upload-file form and options
- Get an estimated cost for the specific problem before submitting
any executions
- Accept and abide by the Terms of Use and submit the executions
The output and associated graphics are automatically e-mailed
back.
Cost of Use, Prize Examples
The cost (in USD) is based on a fixed amount per use plus an addition
amount based on CPU time of the analysis. A cost estimate will be
given before the analysis is executed, at which time you can proceed
or edit/exit the analysis. Check out the Test Drive page to get
an idea of the cost for the analyses examples provided there.
