GUFI® [1] is a Graphical User
File Interface program that converts GUFI files to SWAMI®
[2] data base format. In addition
it contains translators that translate input data from the following
programs directly into a SWAMI data base while creating a KARMA
Input Data File: SACS, ANSYS, NASTRAN, DAMS and SAP. It directly
translates KARMA® [3] Input
File Data to the SWAMI database.
GUFI allows users to append data to an existing SWAMI database.
As an example a user may have two GUFI files, one containing
geometry information, and the other containing results information.
One can process the geometry file first and then append the
results file to the SWAMI data base of the geometry file.
